"10 Ways Racism Killed Michael Brown and Eric Garner" by Chauncey DeVega summarized

The article  "10 Ways Racism Killed Michael Brown and Eric Garner,"posted by Chauncey DeVega on August 13, 2014 exerts that popular african-american teens, Michael Brown & Eric Garner, who were both shot by a white police officer; were killed by white supremacy. Chauncey DeVega strongly believes that the nation lives in a society where being "white" gives people privileges and being colored is a disadvantage. Because of a persons skin color, people already start judging the race as "wild" and "uncontrollable", so when an accident happens, such as Michael & Eric Garner, the person responsible for the accidents twists what happened and says that the cause was the victim restricting or disobeying commands. The title explains what the article is about "10  Ways Racism Killed Michael Brown and Eric Garner" but two stand out from the rest. Number 4 which estates that colored people receive more years in prison than a white person for the same crime represents the ideology of inequality and number 8 which clarifies that cops see "black" or "Hispanic" communities as communities to be "conquered" and are most likely to use violent tactics as their first form of response.
